Marcela and I went to St. Louis this weekend so I could finally take in a Cardinals game at the new Bush Stadium. (did I mention I have an awesome wife?:) We got to see the Cardinals beat the teddy-bears err Cubs (unfortunately it was the only game of a 4 game set the Cards would win), and go to my favorite restaurant, Annie Gunns, for one of the best steaks on earth. After the game we also took in another St. Louis tradition: Ted Drewes Frozen Custard, mmmm, Tasty:)
Oh, and for anybody that cares....Most of the '87 Cardinals National League Championship team was there to open the game including Whitey, Vince Coleman, John Tudor, Todd Worrell, Jack Clark, Jose Oquendo, and of course the Wizard. There were others, but that's the list I remember, the only noteable exception was Willie McGee, didn't see him.
Anyway, here they are from our Far Far away seats (hey...it's hard to get seats to Cards:Cubs games, these were the best we could get, in May)
And last, but not least, this was the coolest marketing from Ford that I've seen in a while. I loved it.
